Scan a QR code or an NFC tag
Depending on your wireless service provider and your device model, the NFC feature might not be available.
When you scan an NFC tag, your device presents options for viewing or saving the information. You can view or save the information in the Smart Tags app. You might also be able to view the info in another application such as the BlackBerry Browser.
When you scan a QR code by using the Smart Tags app, your device saves the information as a smart tag.
Do any of the following:
- To scan a QR code, open the Smart Tags app. Tap
. Hold your device so that all
four corners of the QR code appear on your screen. - To scan an NFC tag, tap the back of your device against the NFC tag.
Delete a smart tag from your device
- In the Smart Tags app, highlight one or more tags that you want to delete.
