Change your BBM status or profile
Let your BBM contacts know what you're doing or share your mood by changing your name, status, or picture.
- Tap your picture or display name.
- In the What's on your mind? field, type a status message.

If you want to show a
icon beside your name,
tap Status > Busy.
Save a status
If you have a status that you use often, such as a vacation notice, you
can save it to use again later.
- Tap the Status field > Edit Status Messages.

- Type a status that you want to use again.

To show a icon beside your name when you
select the status, tap the icon until it illuminates.
- Tap Done.
After you finish: Your custom status appears in the Status field. To edit a status
that you created, repeat step 1 and tap the status.
Change your display picture
- In your BBM profile, tap your current display picture.

- Select a new picture or an animated GIF to use as your BBM picture.
Show what you're listening to
You can change your options to automatically update your BBM status message to display the song title and artist when you're listening to music. Once you're done listening to music, your status message returns to the last message that you typed.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.

- Set the Show What I'm Listening To switch to On.
