I do not know if I am using the email setup application or the browser on my smartphone

The procedures for setting up and managing email are different depending on how you access your BlackBerry Internet Service account. To determine which procedures to follow, perform the following actions:

1. To access your BlackBerry Internet Service account from your smartphone, do one of the following:
   • On the Home screen, click the Setup icon. Click Email Accounts.
   • On the Home screen or in the Setup folder, click the Email Setup icon or Email Settings icon.
2. Press the Menu key.
   • If the Service Books option appears in the menu, you are using the email setup application. Follow the procedures that are labeled "From the email setup application on your smartphone".
   • If the Service Books option does not appear on the menu, you are using the browser. Follow the procedures that are labeled "From the browser on your smartphone".
