About reconciling deleted email messages

After you add an email address to your BlackBerry smartphone, you can delete an email message in your email account inbox (for example, by accessing it from a computer) and the email message is also deleted on your BlackBerry smartphone.
By default, email reconciliation for deleted email messages is turned on for all types of email accounts, except POP email accounts.
If you turn off wireless email reconciliation on your smartphone, deleted email messages do not reconcile between your email account and your smartphone. For more information about email reconciliation, on the Home screen of your smartphone, click the Help icon.
