Set how long your service center attempts to send text messages

If you send a text message and it can't be delivered immediately, your service center tries to send the text message for the number of times that's set in the Retries field. Depending on your wireless service provider, this option might not appear.
  1. On the home screen, click the Text Messages icon.
  2. Press the Menu key > Options.
  3. In the SMS Text section, change the Retries field.
  4. Press the Menu key > Save.
