Receive notifications for software updates
If you sign up to receive notifications, when an updated version of the BlackBerry
Device Software
or BlackBerry Tablet
OS becomes available, you are notified with an email.
- Connect your BlackBerry smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook tablet to your computer.
- In the BlackBerry Desktop Software, click Device > Device options.
- On the General tab, select the Keep me subscribed to email notifications checkbox.
- Type your email address.
- Click OK.
To stop receiving the notifications, clear the Keep me subscribed to email notifications checkbox.
