Set your status to reflect your smartphone status

You can set your status to change to Away when you do not use your BlackBerry smartphone for a specified duration of time. When you use your smartphone again, your status changes back to Available.
Before you begin: To perform this task, your status must be set to Available.
  1. On the contact list screen, press the Menu key > Options.
  2. Change the Show me as Away when idle for field to a duration of time.
  3. Press the Menu key > Save.
