Receive text messages from your BBM contacts in BBM

You can receive text messages from and send text messages to BBM contacts in BBM. This feature allows you to send and receive text messages and instant messages from one application.

Depending on your wireless service plan or organization, this feature might not be supported. Extra fees might apply for sending or receiving text messages.

Before you begin: To perform this task, you must have linked a BlackBerry Messenger contact with a contact who has a phone number in the Contacts application.
  1. On the contact list screen, press the Image of Menu key key > Options.
  2. Select the Show Text Messages From Contacts Linked With BlackBerry Contacts checkbox.
  3. Press the Menu key > Save.
