Change a contact's display picture

You can replace a contact's display picture in BlackBerry Messenger with the contact picture from the Contacts application. If the contact picture changes, the display picture in BlackBerry Messenger is updated automatically to match the contact picture.
Before you begin: To perform this task, you must have linked the BlackBerry Messenger contact with the Contacts application.
  1. On the contact list screen, in a contact category, highlight a contact.
  2. Press the Image of Menu key key > View Contact Profile.
  3. Change the Use BlackBerry Contacts Image field to Yes. If you do not see this option, the contact picture is already showing in BlackBerry Messenger.
  4. Press the Menu key > Save.
After you finish: To view the current display picture that the contact has set, change the Use BlackBerry Contacts Image field to No.
