Set your smartphone to turn on and turn off automatically

You can set your BlackBerry smartphone to turn off while you aren't using it for an extended period, like when you sleep. Data you receive when the smartphone is turned off automatically updates when the smartphone turns on.
  1. On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
  2. Click Device > Auto On/Off.
  3. In the Weekday or Weekend section, select the Enabled check box.
  4. Specify the times when your smartphone should turn on and turn off on weekdays and weekends.
  5. Press the Menu key > Save.
