Show or hide the touch screen keyboard

Your BlackBerry® smartphone shows the touch screen keyboard when you tap a text field, and hides the keyboard when you tap the hide bar just above the keyboard. You can hide the touch screen keyboard manually to display more content on the screen.
Do one of the following:
  • To show the keyboard, click the Menu key > Show Keyboard.
  • To hide the keyboard, tap the hide bar just above the keyboard.
