If you want to stop associating your BlackBerry® smartphone with the BlackBerry® Desktop Software that is installed on your computer, you can remove your current smartphone settings.

1. On your computer, in the Applications folder, click BlackBerry Desktop Software.
2. On the Device menu, click Forget Device > Forget.

After you finish: If you want to reassociate your smartphone with the BlackBerry Desktop Software, connect your smartphone to your computer and complete the instructions in the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
