If you want to start using a new BlackBerry® smartphone, you can use the BlackBerry® Desktop Software to switch to the new smartphone. Your smartphone data and settings from your previous BlackBerry smartphone, such as supported email messages, organizer data, and third-party applications that are compatible with your new smartphone, are imported to your new smartphone.

This feature isn't available for the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet.
