Turn on GPS technology

Note: The GPS options that appear on your smartphone might differ slightly from the options that appear in this task.
Before you begin: Depending on your BlackBerry® smartphone model and wireless network, this feature might not be supported.
  1. On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
  2. Click Device > Location Settings.
  3. Change the Location Services field to Location On.
  4. Press the Menu key > Save.
After you finish: To turn off GPS technology, change the Location Services field to Location Off.
