Install Wi-Fi music sync on your device

  1. Connect your BlackBerry® device to your computer.
  2. On your computer, in the Applications folder, click the BlackBerry Desktop Software icon.
  3. Click Device Options.
  4. On the Media tab, in the Wi-Fi Music Sync section, select the Allow Wi-Fi music sync between this device and this computer check box.
  5. At the installation prompt, click Install.
  6. On the confirmation screen, note the requirements for Wi-Fi® connectivity and click Close.
  7. To synchronize the songs on your computer with your device, click Music. The first time that you synchronize your songs, you must keep your device connected to your computer with a USB cable.
After you finish: To see your Wi-Fi connection status and other connectivity updates for Wi-Fi music sync, on the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, click the Wi-Fi music sync icon.
