I cannot use the spell checker

You can only use the spell checker on the text that you type.

The keyboard is not displaying

If you have a Bluetooth keyboard connected to your BlackBerry PlayBooktablet, the keyboard on your tablet will not automatically display. To show the keyboard, swipe in from the bottom-left frame onto the screen.
