Create a custom status
- On the Home screen or in the Instant Messaging folder, click the BlackBerry Messenger icon.
- On the contact list screen,
press the Menu key.
- Click View My Profile.
- Click the Status field.
- Click Personalize Status.
- Type a status.
- If necessary, select the Show busy icon check box.
- Click OK.
