Check for the latest version of BlackBerry Messenger

Depending on your version of BlackBerry® Messenger or your organization, this feature might not be supported.

You can download the latest version of BlackBerry Messenger manually from the BlackBerry App World™ storefront. For more information about the BlackBerry App World storefront, on a computer visit www.blackberry.com/appworld.

  1. On the Home screen or in the Instant Messaging folder, click the BlackBerry Messenger icon.
  2. On the contact list screen, press the Menu key.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Press the Menu key.
  5. Click About BlackBerry Messenger.
  6. Press the Menu key.
  7. Click Check for Update.
