Receive notifications for BlackBerry Device Software updates

If you sign up to receive notifications, when an updated version of the BlackBerry® Device Software becomes available, you are notified with an email message.
  1. Connect your BlackBerry device to your computer.
  2. In the BlackBerry® Desktop Software, click Device > Device options.
  3. On the General tab, select the Yes, email me when updates are available check box.
  4. Type your email address.
  5. Click OK.
After you finish: To stop receiving the notifications, clear the Yes, email me when updates are available check box.
