Use a shortcut for switching typing input languages when you are typing

Before you begin: You can use the following shortcut only on the physical keyboard of your BlackBerry® smartphone.

On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
Click Typing and Input > Language.
- To switch the typing input language by holding the Alt key and pressing the Enter key, change the Shortcut Keys field to Alt-Enter.
- To switch the typing input language by holding the Shift key and pressing the Space key, change the Shortcut Keys field to Shift-Space.
Press the key > Save.

After you finish: To turn off the shortcut for switching typing input languages, change the Shortcut Keys field to None.
