Receive notification when a contact becomes available
You can receive a message when the contact becomes available. Depending on the active sound profile on your device, you might also receive an audible notification.
- On the Home screen or in the Instant Messaging folder, click the BlackBerry Messenger icon.
- On the contact list screen, in a contact category, highlight an unavailable contact.
- Press the Menu key.
- Click Set Alert.
- Click OK.
To turn off the notification, click
Clear Alert.
