Changing the BlackBerry device orientation
BlackBerry® Storm™ 9500 smartphones support displaying screen information in either landscape or portrait mode, depending on how the physical device is oriented.

Top-Side-Up |
The device is oriented normally. |
Left-Side-Up |
The device is rotated 90 degrees to the right. |
Right-Side-Up |
The device is rotated 90 degrees to the left. |
Bottom-Side-Up |
The device is rotated 180 degrees, upside-down. |
Front-Side-Up |
The device screen is facing upward. |
Back-Side-Up |
The device screen is facing downward. |
