Confirmation of digital rights

When you use the vendor portal for the BlackBerry App World storefront to add a release for a product, you must confirm whether the product includes content that you do not own, also known as third-party content. If you specify that the product includes third-party content, you are prompted to complete and submit the Confirmation of Digital Rights form.

By completing the form, you confirm that you obtained permission to use any third-party content.

Some examples of third-party content include the following:
  • eBooks
  • news feeds
  • radio broadcasts
  • rich media, including ringtones, music, images, and videos
  • logos, trademarks, names, and other proprietary content

The list above is not a complete list. Any content that you do not own is considered third-party content.
