Simulate the absence of a SIM card

The BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator for BlackBerry devices with SIM cards allow you to simulate the absence of a SIM card. By default, the BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator simulates the SIM card being present.
  1. On the taskbar, click Start > Run.
  2. Type cmd.
  3. Click OK.
  4. To start the device, type the following command: 
    fledge /handheld=<model_number> /no-sim-present
