UI changes that trigger a notification to an assistive technology application

The following changes to a UI component can trigger a notification to an assistive technology application:

  • a change to the position of a cursor
  • a change to the name
  • a change to the text
  • a change in a child component
  • a change in the state
  • a change to the numeric value
