The BlackBerry® Wallet is used to populate the fields on a web form with the data stored in the BlackBerry Wallet. A web developer must include the BlackBerry Wallet MIME type in the HTTP header of each web page that supports the BlackBerry Wallet. To map the fields on a web page to the data elements in the BlackBerry Wallet, the web developer must add specific HTML attributes.

The BlackBerry® Browser on the BlackBerry device detects the BlackBerry Wallet MIME type and adds the BlackBerry Wallet menu items to the BlackBerry Browser menu. The BlackBerry device user can click the menu items to use the data stored in the BlackBerry Wallet to populate the fields on the web form.
