Backup and restore
BlackBerry® device users can use the backup and restore tool in the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager or the BlackBerry® Web Desktop Manager to back up the data stored in the BlackBerry® Wallet to a computer and restore data to the BlackBerry device.
If the user types the BlackBerry Wallet password incorrectly ten times, and the BlackBerry Wallet clears the password and deletes the data records, the data records can be restored if they were backed up. However, to restore the data records, the user must type the BlackBerry Wallet password. If the user has forgotten the password, they will not be able to access the data in the BlackBerry Wallet even after the data is restored.
