Simulate a GPS receiver

A GPS receiver is a device that receives GPS information and transmits it to the BlackBerry® device through a Bluetooth® connection. Devices must be running applications with JSR179 in order for this functionality to work properly.

To simulate a BlackBerry device that is close enough to a Bluetooth GPS receiver to receive data from the receiver, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Simulate menu, click GPS Location.
  2. Set Bluetooth GPS Receiver In Range.
