The BlackBerry Theme Builder Inspector
You can use the
BlackBerry® Theme Builder Inspector to customize the components of the UI on the
BlackBerry® device. You can click the appropriate button that is located on the left-most side of the Inspector pane to display the Inspector for each component.

You can use the Banner Inspector to change the icons, fonts, and images in the banners that appear across the top of the screens.

For Zen layouts, you can use the Home Screen Inspector
to specify the six applications to display on the Home screen, and the images to use for other Home screen elements.
For Today layouts, you can use the Home Screen Inspector
to specify the applications to display on the Home screen, and the images to use for other Home screen elements.
For custom layouts,
you can use the Home Screen Inspector to create a custom Home screen by using a combination of Today and Zen items. You can specify the applications to display on the Home screen, their position on the home screen, and how to move from one item to another.
You can specify the images to use for other Home screen elements and you can specify up to ten items to use in the Today area.

You can use the Application List Inspector to specify icons to use and to define the application hierarchy of the Application Menu screen.

Use the Controls Inspector to change the appearance of Application controls
on the BlackBerry device, such as dialog boxes, buttons, menus, title bars, lists, and search fields.

You can use the Message List Inspector to change the appearance of the messages application.

You can use the Phone Screens Inspector to customize the ring tones, the Phone Hotlist screen, the Active Call screen, and the Incoming Call screen.

You can use the Lock Screen Inspector to specify the fonts and the images to use on the Lock screen.

You can use the Shortcut Bar Inspector to specify the images and backgrounds to use for the shortcut bar on a BlackBerry device with a touch screen.

You can use the Global items Inspector to specify the images and colors for the items that appear on the screen for all applications, such as the transmission indicators and progress bars. You can specify the transition effects to use when the user moves from one screen to another.

You can use the External Screen Inspector to customize the Home screen, Phone, and Notification display on an external screen for a BlackBerry® Pearl™ Flip Series smartphone.
