Default Enable Password Expiration Notification Days

This setting specifies whether to send an email message to users before their passwords expire.

By default, the check box is not selected.

Default Enable Password History

This setting specifies whether to prevent users from reusing previous passwords.

By default, the check box is not selected.

Default Maximum Number of Web Login Timeout Days

If you turn on the Enable Maximum Number of Web Login Timeout setting, the Default Maximum Number of Web Login Timeout Days setting specifies the number of days that users can log in to the BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System web UI. If users do not log in within the specified period of time, the BlackBerry MVS prevents them from logging in and locks their user accounts.

The default value is 90 days.

Default Maximum Password Change Days

This setting specifies the maximum number of days that passwords are valid before users must change them.

The default value is 999 days.

Default Maximum Password History Levels

If you turn on the Default Enable Password History setting, the Default Maximum Password History Levels setting specifies the number of previous passwords that users cannot reuse.

The default value is 5 previous passwords.

Default Minimum Password Change Days

This setting specifies the minimum number of days that passwords are valid before users must change them.

The default value is 0 days.

Default Password Expiration Notification Days

If you turn on the Default Enable Password Expiration Notification Days setting, the Default Password Expiration Notification Days setting specifies when you want to send an email message to users before their passwords expire.

The default value is 15 days.

Enable Maximum Number of Web Login Timeout

This setting specifies whether users must log in to the BlackBerry MVS web UI within a specified number of days. If users do not log in within the specified period of time, the BlackBerry MVS prevents users from logging in and locks their user accounts.

By default, the check box is not selected.

Enable Strong Passwords

This setting specifies whether users must use strong passwords to log in to the BlackBerry MVS web UI. A strong password consists of at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character (such as !, @, #, $, or %).

By default, the check box is not selected.

Maximum Login Attempts Disable (seconds)

If users exceed the Maximum Web Login Attempts Allowed setting within the time that is specified in the Maximum Login Attempts Duration (seconds) setting, the Maximum Login Attempts Disable (seconds) setting specifies the length of time that the BlackBerry MVS should prevent users from logging in to the BlackBerry MVS web UI.

The default value is 100 seconds.

Maximum Login Attempts Duration (seconds)

This setting specifies the length of time that the BlackBerry MVS should monitor attempts to log in to the BlackBerry MVS web UI across all of the BlackBerry MVS user accounts. If users exceed the Maximum Web Login Attempts Allowed setting within this period of time, the BlackBerry MVS prevents users from logging in for the length of time that is specified in the Maximum Login Attempts Disable (seconds) setting. If a single user exceeds the Maximum Web Login Attempts Allowed, the BlackBerry MVS locks the account.

The default value is 30 seconds.

Maximum Web Login Attempts Allowed

This setting specifies the permitted number of times that users can try to log in to the BlackBerry MVS web UI.

The default value is 99 times.

Minimum Password Length

This setting specifies the length of the passwords that users use to log in to the BlackBerry MVS web UI.

The default value is 4 characters.

Notify On Maximum Login Attempts

This setting specifies whether to send an email message to an error notification group after users exceed the Maximum Web Login Attempts Allowed setting.

By default, the check box is selected.

Web Session Timeout Duration (minutes)

This setting specifies how long users can remain logged in to the BlackBerry MVS web UI without performing any actions before they must log in again.

The default value is 30 minutes.
