Configure the BlackBerry MVS Server to send email messages when errors occur

You must have site administrator permissions to perform this task.

You can configure a notification group to send email messages to one or more contacts if users exceed the maximum number of permitted times to log in to the BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System web UI, and if critical events occur on the BlackBerry MVS Server and require action. For example, a critical event can occur if port numbers are not available or do not reset, or if system exception errors occur.

In the BlackBerry MVS web UI, on the Administration menu, click Error Notification Groups.
Click Notification Group Members.
Click Add.
In the Email Address field, type the email address. You can type multiple email addresses for the contact up to a maximum of 50 characters, and separate the email addresses with a semicolon (;).
In the Name field, type the name of the contact.
Click Submit.

Repeat steps 3 to 6 for each contact that you want to add to the notification group.
