Description

This setting specifies the default user name that a BlackBerry® device uses to log in to your organization's VPN server.

Default value

The default value is a null value.

Usage

Configure this setting if you want to create a default user name for all user accounts.

If a user types a user name on a BlackBerry device manually, IT policy updates overwrite or delete the value that the user typed. To retain the value that the user types on the BlackBerry device, verify that the updated configuration setting uses the same value as this setting.

Dependencies

You must change the Enable VPN configuration setting to Yes so that a BlackBerry device can use this setting.
