Generating the client proxy files

The BlackBerry Web Services use WSDL files to describe the classes that they expose. To integrate your applications with the BlackBerry Web Services, you must use a proxy generator to generate the client proxy files for the BWS and BWSUtil interfaces.

The BWS and BWSUtil proxy files must be stored together in a single source file as a combined set of proxy classes.

Each release of the BlackBerry Web Services introduces new features and functionality, improvements to existing features, and bug fixes. It is a best practice to generate and use a new set of proxy files whenever your organization implements a new version of the BlackBerry Device Service, so that your application can leverage the most recent improvements and fixes for the BlackBerry Web Services.
