Assign an IT policy to a user account

You can use the BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool to remove the current IT policy assigned to a user account and to assign a new IT policy to the user account.
  1. On the computer that hosts the BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool, on the taskbar, click Start > All Programs > BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit > BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool Client > BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool.
  2. Type besuseradminclient <credentials> -change -itpolicy <IT_policy_name> -u <user_name> -b <server_name> .

besuseradminclient -username admin -password password -change -itpolicy "Work Policy" -u jpalmer@test.rim.net -b server1
