-set_connection_failover_mode

Syntax: -set_connection_failover_mode

If you configured the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service or the BlackBerry Collaboration Service for high availability, you can use the -set_connection_failover_mode parameter to change the failover mode.

-set_connection_failover_mode : set connection failover mode
    -b <instance> : instance name of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server
                    component
    -enable : enable automatic failover
    or
    -disable : disable automatic failover

Subparameter

Description

-b <server_name>

This subparameter specifies the BlackBerry Enterprise Server that is associated with the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service and BlackBerry Collaboration Service instances.

You use the name of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server instance as it appears in the BlackBerry Administration Service.

-disable

This subparameter changes the failover mode of the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service and the BlackBerry Collaboration Service to manual.

-enable

This subparameter changes the failover mode of the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service and the BlackBerry Collaboration Service to automatic.
