Start the calendar synchronization process manually for a user account

This task applies to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange and the BlackBerry Enterprise Server for IBM Lotus Domino only.

By default, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server synchronizes the calendar on a BlackBerry device user's computer with the calendar on the user's device at a regular interval. You can use the BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool to start the calendar synchronization process manually for a user account.

  1. On the computer that hosts the BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool, on the taskbar, click Start > All Programs > BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit > BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool Client > BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool.
  2. Type besuseradminclient <credentials> -change -synchronize_calendar -u <user_name> -b <server_name> .

besuseradminclient -username admin -password password -change -synchronize_calendar1 -u jpalmer@test.rim.net -b server
