Configure a SIP trunk
You must configure a SIP trunk for outgoing calls to the mobile
numbers on
BlackBerry devices and, if
applicable, incoming calls from the
BlackBerry
devices.
If your organization's
BlackBerry Mobile Voice System installation is
configured for high availability, you must create a second SIP trunk to the
computer that hosts the other
BlackBerry MVS Server. All settings are identical except for the Device Name and the
Destination Address.
To add a new SIP trunk, in the
Cisco Unified
Communications Manager UI:
- Click Device > Trunk > Add New.
- In the Trunk Type drop-down list, select SIP Trunk.
The Device Protocol field will automatically pick SIP. In Cisco Unified Communications
Manager 8.0.3 and later, for Trunk Service Type, leave at None (Default)
