Configure the ad hoc conference settings

You must configure the ad hoc conference settings on the Cisco Unified Communications Manager so that BlackBerry Mobile Voice System users can add participants to active calls.

The ad hoc conference settings are only available on Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.x or later.

To make the changes, in the Cisco Unified Communications Manager UI, click System > Service Parameters > Cisco UCM Service.

Field Suggested setting Settings for your organization's PBX
Maximum Ad Hoc Conference 6

This sets the maximum number of participants that can attend an ad hoc conference.

  
Advanced Ad Hoc Conference Enabled

True

This setting enables conference participants other than the conference controller to add or drop participants from an existing ad hoc conference.
