Types of phones and user accounts
To perform the verification tests, you must have the following phones available:

Two participating desk phones
|
A participating desk phone is a phone that is on your organization's phone system and is associated with a BlackBerry MVS
user account.

Two participating BlackBerry
devices
with the BlackBerry MVS Client installed

Each BlackBerry MVS
user account includes a participating desk phone and a device with the BlackBerry MVS Client installed. Each device
must be associated with a BlackBerry MVS user account.
To verify Voice over
Wi-Fi features, at least one device
must be
Wi-Fi
enabled and connected to a Wi-Fi network that provides connectivity to your organization's phone system. Some verification tests require both devices to be Wi-Fi
enabled.

To perform the verification tests, make sure that you have the following types of external numbers available:
- External local number
- External
long-distance number
- External
international number
