Verify that you can call a nonparticipating long-distance phone from a participating BlackBerry device

Steps

Make a call from the device to the long-distance phone.

After you finish: Repeat this test using Voice over Wi-Fi and with no data coverage present.

Expected results

  • You can hear a ring-back tone.
  • The caller ID of the long-distance phone appears on the device.
  • The call connects when the user of the long-distance phone answers.
  • You and the user of the long-distance phone can communicate.
