Verify that you can move an active call automatically from Voice over Mobile to Voice over Wi-Fi on a BlackBerry device - user notification

Steps

  1. From the Home screen, press the Send key.
  2. Press the Menu key.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Click Line and Network Preferences.
  5. In the Default network for Work calls drop-down list, select Wi-Fi.
  6. Press the Menu key.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Press the Menu key.
  9. Click Close.
  10. Click Network Handoff.
  11. Click Always.
  12. Press the Menu key.
  13. Click Save.
  14. In an area where Wi-Fi is not available, make a Voice over Mobile call on a BlackBerry device.
  15. Move to an area where Wi-Fi coverage is available.

Expected results

  • You hear beeps and the device backlight turns on.
  • A message appears indicating that Wi-Fi coverage is available and that the call is moving to the Wi-Fi network.
  • A message appears and you hear beeps that indicate that the call is moved.
