Steps
- From the Home screen,
press the
Send key.
- Press the
Menu key.
- Click
Options.
- Click
Line and Network Preferences.
- In the
Default network for Work calls drop-down list,
select
Wi-Fi.
- Press the
Menu key.
- Click
Save.
- Press the
Menu key.
- Click
Close.
- Click
Network Handoff.
- Click
Always.
- Press the
Menu key.
- Click
Save.
- In an area with
Wi-Fi coverage, make a
Voice over Wi-Fi call on a
BlackBerry
device.
- Move to an area where
there is no
Wi-Fi coverage but
mobile coverage is available.
Expected results
- You hear beeps and the
device backlight turns on.
- A message appears
indicating that you are leaving the
Wi-Fi coverage area and
that the call is moving to the mobile network.
- A message appears and you
hear beeps that indicate that the call is moved.
