Verify that you can add a participant to an active call
You can add participants to an active call. The number of participants
that you can add to a call depends on your organization's phone system. For
more information, contact your administrator.
Users must be associated with a
Cisco Unified
Communications Manager 7.1 or later PBX before they can add
participants to an active call.

Steps
- During a call, press the
Menu key.
- Click
Add Participants.
- To add a participant
whose phone number appears in your call log, click the call log.
- To add a contact,
press the
Menu key. Click
Call From Contacts. Click a contact.
- To add another
participant, type a phone number. Press the
Send key.
- After the call is
answered, press the
Menu key.
- Click
Join Conference.
- To add more people to the
call, repeat steps 1 to 4.
After you finish: Repeat this test using Voice over Wi-Fi and with no data coverage present.
Expected results
- The participant is added
to the call.
- The participants can
communicate.
