Best practice: Troubleshooting the BlackBerry MVS
When you are troubleshooting issues with the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System, consider the following guidelines:
- Install a packet capture tool, such as Wireshark, on the BlackBerry MVS Server to help diagnose issues with signaling.
- Check the BlackBerry MVS Client for the current registration and provisioning status for users to help you identify a user's capabilities and call control settings.
- Use the MVS Console to access Call Detail Record Reports, which provide details on all calls.
- Use the MVS Console to access a Disconnected Call Report, which provides details such as whether the call is Voice over Wi-Fi or Voice over Mobile, signal strength, and call direction.
