Managing call transferring

You can permit users to transfer calls from their work phone numbers to a desk phone number or mobile phone number on their BlackBerry devices. You can also permit users to change a designated transfer number, such as their desk phone numbers or mobile phone numbers.

Permit users to transfer calls

After you make changes to a class of service, the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System updates the affected user accounts and BlackBerry devices that are assigned to the class of service.

  1. In the MVS Console, in the left pane, expand Class Of Service.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click a class of service.
  4. In the BlackBerry MVS Call Features section, select the User can transfer a call check box.
  5. Click Save.

Permit users to move calls

You can permit users to move calls. After you make changes to a class of service, the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System updates the affected user accounts and BlackBerry devices that are assigned to the class of service.

  1. In the MVS Console, in the left pane, expand Class Of Service.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click a class of service.
  4. To permit users to move calls to their desk numbers, select the User can move a call to the desk phone check box.
  5. To permit users to move calls from their desk phones to their BlackBerry devices, select the User can move a call from the desk phone to the BlackBerry device check box.
  6. To permit users to move calls to their BlackBerry devices, select the User can move a call to the mobile phone number check box.
  7. To permit users to move calls to their work numbers, select the User can move a call to a one time number check box.
  8. Click Save.
