Import the Microsoft SharePoint certificate into the certificate store of the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service

  • Export the Microsoft SharePoint certificate and copy it to a temporary folder on the computer that hosts the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service.
  • On the computer that hosts the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy, navigate to <drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\SNAP\SP\snap_tomcat\tools. Copy the ImportCert.exe file to a temporary folder on the computer that hosts the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service.
  1. On the computer that hosts the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service, open the ImportCert.exe file. If the operating system in your organization's environment is Windows Server 2008, run ImportCert.exe as an administrator.
  2. Click Browse.
  3. Browse to and select the Microsoft SharePoint certificate.
  4. Click Open.
  5. Click Import.
  6. Restart the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service using the BlackBerry Administration Service or the Windows Services.
Repeat the steps for each BlackBerry MDS Connection Service instance in the BlackBerry Domain.
