Change the password for the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy Administration Service
- Open the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy Administration Service by typing the following web address in a browser: https://<SNAP_server_name>:22446/snapconsole.
- Click Change Password.
- Type your user name, the current password, and the new password.
- Click Save Password.
If you forget the password, you must delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Prefs\snap\console\referenceid registry entry, and start the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy Administration Service again to type a new password. If your organization's environment uses Windows Server 2008, the registry entry is located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\JavaSoft\Prefs\snap\console.
