The BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy generates system log files for the file transfer service daily, and stores them in a subfolder in the logs folder. The default location of the logs folder is <drive>:\Program Files(x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\SNAP\SP\ft_tomcat\logs. The name of the subfolder is YYYYMMDD, which is the date that the subfolder is created.

You can use this property to specify the number of subfolders that the BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy can create and store before it starts to delete older subfolders. The BlackBerry Social Networking Application Proxy can create and store up to seven subfolders.

INFO log level

This log level logs general information that highlights the progress of an application.

DEBUG log level

This log level logs detailed information that you can use to debug an application.

WARN log level

This log level logs information about potentially harmful situations.

ERROR log level

This log level logs information about error events that do not cause an application to stop running.

FATAL log level

This log level logs information about severe error events that cause an application to stop running.
