Best practice: Configuring the BlackBerry MVS
Consider the following guidelines:
- A BlackBerry MVS Server can support more than one BlackBerry Enterprise Server as long as all of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server instances are in the same BlackBerry Domain. There cannot be more BlackBerry MVS Server instances than there are BlackBerry Enterprise Server instances.
- There can be only one instance of the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System in a BlackBerry Domain.
- The BlackBerry MVS Server, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the BlackBerry Configuration Database, and the PBX do not have to be co-located. However, the network latency, measured by round trip ping time during periods of high network use, must not exceed 240ms between these components.
