the gateway. To configure the telephony connector settings, in the
MVS Console, in
the left pane, click Telephony Connectors > Manage.

Description
Display Name
This field specifies the display name for the telephony
connector.
Type
Select SIP gateway.
IP Address
This field specifies the IP address of your organization's
gateway.
Host Name
This field specifies the host name or FQDN of the gateway.
The default host name is the same as the IP address.
Trunk Port
This field specifies the trunk port number that the
MVS Session
Manager uses for SIP
communication with the gateway.
This port number communicates with the port number of the
SIP trunk that is specified on the Session Manager page.
The default port number is 6060.
IP-IP Mode
This option specifies that you want your organization's SIP gateway to use the SIP protocol to communicate with the SIP gateway.
Caller Identification Number
This field specifies the ANI number for your organization's PBX.
When the call direction for incoming calls or outgoing calls is set to PBX-initiated, when the MVS Session
Manager starts a call, it sends the ANI number that is associated with the telephony connector as the caller ID number to the PBX. The PBX uses the caller ID number to communicate with the BlackBerry MVS Client that the call is from the BlackBerry MVS.
You can get this number from your organization's PBX administrator.
Location
This field specifies the location of the telephony connector. When you use the phone number translation feature, the BlackBerry MVS removes the plus sign (+) from the front of phone numbers, and adds prefixes for IDD, NDD, and the home country code of your organization's location. You can use this feature if your organization's PBX does not remove the plus sign or add the prefixes automatically.
